Amor e Luz
The Term: Amor e Luz means “Love and Light.” As the Board of Directors were searching for a special name for this prayer group, we came upon a Galician language for the interpretation of Love and Light. We discovered that Galicia Spain/Portugal was a community of one of the first Celtic Tribes that had migrated west from the Asian communities. With our foundation being quite Celtic, we felt honored by the Grace of the Divine to lead us to this information. We are delighted to share this Circle of Prayer with the world and welcome the many of you who wish to be a part of this growing circle.
Each and every day you may enter a prayer request for yourself, family, friends, neighbors, the world, etc. You may also check in each day to see who is sending prayers so you may be in service. Your prayers Ignite the Light of Divine Perfection and assist in calling forth miracles.
What will it require of you to participate?
- Daily check the SPICA - Way of Light Amor e Luz page to see who is requesting prayer help. Then, of course, take your time to pray affirmatively for the person or people to be blessed and assisted from the region of Source Consciousness.
Once you do sign on, you can be notified via the RSS system. This will let you know of any new requests or comments that do result from the group assistance.
When 2 or More are Gathered - Special Prayer Program
From Christian traditions to Mysticism, the message of Matthew 18:20 provides a very special form of information. It is the mystical message that two or more individuals who focus on a special intent, ignite the energy of Source with a strength and love that create the interconnect with the purest point of Spirit being accessed in order to help the human frailties to be healed. To aid this reality, SPICA - Way of Light has requested a s pecial group of people to perform Prayers of Service with two or more people gathered in Sacred Intent to call forth the Miracles of Love and Light to aid an individual, family, community, or world-wide needs.
The Group of People will create an even deeper connection to Source and the prayer requests through the Eight (8) Celtic Festivals of the year. Together, they will not only align with the intent of the prayer request, but also blend the significant cosmic vibrations that correspond to specified open fields of higher consciousness that have been used since ancient times. The Intention of the Celtic Festivals are interwoven in our psyche and do assist our ability to call forth the strength of the energy to activate the healing, balance, and needs of an individual, group, and the world.
Volunteers have agreed to meet together to honor the Sacred Prayers at the Celtic Festival time frame. They carry a love and honor of prayer, knowing that Miracles do occur when the intent is held with humility and deep respect for the request.
The Eight (8) Celtic Festivals
Imbolc: Feb 1- 3 are the most significant dates, but its power point is when the Sun is 15 Degrees of Aquarius. In 2011, that occurs at ~8:45 pm PST, on February 3rd. It signifies the Light of the Goddess emanating the Highest Intent to fulfill the promises of an abundant year. This is also known as Candlemas. Poets, Healers and Midwives are given respect. Eight candles are lit in honor of the Goddess and Her Gift of Love and Light. This is the doorway to Spring.
Spring Equinox: Called, Alban Eilir (Light of the Earth), this festival occurs when the Sun reaches zero degrees in the Sign of Aries. Usually noted around March 21 -22. This year, 2011, it will occur at 4:21 pm PST on March 20th. Noted here is the power of Balance as the Sun and Moon share equal time. Honor of Balance of Self, Spring’s arrival, action is given respect and the power of Renewal is felt.
Beltane: Final time of Spring and Doorway to Summer. Beltane is celebrated in May, usually May 1, and particularly when the Sun is 15 degrees of Taurus. This year that will be May 5th at ~ 1:30 pm PST. It is a fertility time. It is a time when the Sacred Message of the Goddess is deciphered. It honors the power of Love, the cultivation of the soul, and the expression of Earth giving way her vegetation for nurturing. Purification and preparation for successful accomplishments is honored. The gnomes, elves and fey are very busy supporting New Life.
Summer Solstice: Called Alban Hefin (Light of the Shore). The Shortest Night and Longest Day is celebrated on June 2, 2011, at 10:16 a.m. PST, when the Sun is at zero degrees in the Sign of Cancer. It is the most powerful time to the Druid/Druidess. It is the Gift of All-Healing. Lughnasasadh: This celebration occurs around August 1st or at 15 degrees of Leo. This will occur at ~1:45 pm PST August 7, 2011. It is also called Lammas (loaf-mass). It is the First Harvest Celebration and the Doorway of Fall. Gathering of the Corn and Wheat, a time of contests and games, and a time of commitments is honored here. The honoring of the Wheel of Life and the Turning Time of the Year occurs, with the acknowledgment that the descent into the dark-time of Fall and Winter are surely happening. The power of one’s Spirit is to be acknowledged as the Single-point of consciousness that leads you through the rest of the year.
Autumnal Equinox: Called, Alban Elfed (Light of the Water) will occur this year on September 23, at 2:05 am PST when the Sun is zero degrees of the Sign of Libra. Once again Day and Night share equal time. Balance and harmony of relationships, the honoring of Fall, and the inward journey is honored. The end of harvest is noted and the ceremony of gratitude of the fruits of Earth are honored.
Samhain: The Celebration of Life and Death and the Celtic New Year occurs on this Festival Day. Usually f rom October 31st to November 1st are the noted days of celebration. This is another time when the celebration is honored as the Sun is 15 degrees of Scorpio, which occurs in 2011 on November 7th at 10:45 a.m. PST. This is the time of honoring the fallow land and the fallow soil of the soul, that will take on the richness of the dark womb and prepare for the time of New Light and New beginnings as the chambers of Silence open to the individual for deep soul contemplation. This is the time when the gateway to the other world is freely open.
Winter Solstice: The Longest Night is honored and yet, the preparation for the Light is occurring. In our Christian traditions, is the preparing for the Light of the World (Jesus; our Christ Consciousness). In our Celtic traditions, it is the honoring of the Sun light that regenerates the land, inspirits the people, and encourages sacred attitudes that honor All Life.
